The proposed full service hotel consists of 110 hotel rooms mainly on the south wing of the project with dramatic views up and down the Roaring Fork River Valley. The average size of the rooms will be 400 square feet wth underground parking and/or valet service available. Each room will be decorated in a modern western décor. Rooms will have all the amenities of mini bar, wireless internet connection, flat screen television, and DVDs. Many rooms will have a balcony/patio area. There will be a small number of deluxe hotel suites for honeymooners or families. It is expected that many of the condominium owners will place their condominiums in the rental program, as well, which will make available 30-40 two and three bedroom suites, many of them riverside.
The hotel will be operated in an environmentally friendly manner. Rooms are to be appointed with organic furnishings, soaps, and paper products. Recycled materials will be used throughout the construction and furnishing of the hotel.
Hotel amenities include a restaurant with fireplace bar and lounge with views of the patio and river valley, an eco spa, a fitness facility, and high-tech conference/business center and an outdoor Jacuzzi pool. Full service concierge service will be available for our guests to coordinate reservations for dining, golf, kayaking, and fly fishing tours. There will be transportation and shuttle service to and from the Aspen, Eagle and Rifle airports as well as Aspen and Sunlight ski areas and other local attractions. Guests will enjoy outside common areas such as the riverside veranda, gold medal fishing and Glenwood’s Riverwalk recreational path.
The first floor convention/party space consists of 4,500 total square feet. It can be divisible into smaller sections as needed; two adjoining halves, and the balance a 14-foot, clear height meeting space. When fully utilized, the facility will accommodate up to 350 for dining or 500 in theatre seating. The space will have immediate access to the bar/lounge area so overflow could be easily accommodated. In addition, there will be a dramatic partially covered area on the veranda overlooking the river for outdoor functions and weddings, with space for tents and seating for 200 people. The on-site restaurant and kitchen will be sufficiently equipped and staffed to handle functions of all sizes. In addition, there will be the latest in audio visual and multimedia technology for meetings that require such features.
Rooms and convention services will begin taking reservations in late spring of 2009. Please monitor our website for additional information.
