The Lodge
The proposed hotel plan consists of 68 hotel rooms (34,563 total square feet ) on the south wing of the project. The average size of the rooms will be 508 square feet. Each room will be decorated in a modern western décor. Rooms will have all the amenities of mini bar, wireless internet connections, television, and DVDs. Each room will have a balcony/patio area. There will be a small number of deluxe suites suitable as honeymoon suites.
The hotel will be operated in an environmentally friendly manner. Rooms are to be appointed with organic furnishings, soaps, and paper products. Recycled materials will be used throughout the construction and furnishing of the hotel, including recycling river water in the water features.
Hotel amenities include an eco spa, a first-rate fitness facility, and high tech business center. Full service concierge service will be available for our guests to coordinate reservations for dining, golf, kayaking, and fly fishing tours. There will be transportation and shuttle service to and from the Eagle, Rifle, and Aspen airports, as well as for local activities. Our guests will have access to outside common areas such as the riverside veranda and the future bike and walking path at the river’s edge.
The first floor convention space consists of 9,030 total square feet. It can be divisible into smaller sections as needed; two adjoining halves, a two-story ballroom space, and the balance a 14-foot, clear height meeting space. When fully opened up, the facility will accommodate up to 500 for dining. These events will have the support of on-site catering staff. In addition, there will be the latest in audio visual and multimedia technology for meetings that require such features.
There is abundant underground and surface parking for hotel guests.
